Arcelormittal galvalume plus is an unpainted steel sheet product that starts with our galvalume substrate and its highly corrosion resistant 55 aluminum 45 zinc alloy hot dipped coating. A clear organic resin coating is applied to both sides of the substrate using sophisticated reverse roll coaters. This coating acts as an excellent protection against corrosion. This superior roofing material also used as siding is actually sheets of steel coated with a composition of 45 zinc and 55 aluminum.

What is galvalume roofing material. The alloy coating of aluminum and zinc combines the best properties of both metals. Thus galvalume plus is very easy to form and install safely in the field using portable roll formers. Galvalume metal is similar to galvanized steel but uses a coating combination of aluminum and zinc rather than just zinc.
