This project monitors two garage doors.
Garage door detector arduino.
It can be connected to esp8266 to control the garage door.
No external power supply connect to wired or wireless alarm control panel gnd and n c ports directly.
I mounted the 2 switches at each end of the garage door rail.
Alarms are sent by sms.
A door that is not completely opened or stays open for to long triggers an alarm.
Our own network enabled garage door opener controlled with an arduino.
On the lcd screen you can see the last movements of your doors.
The garage door is closed as high on the arduino the closed door sensor is connected to the no pin and the fully open sensor is connected to the nc pin on the switches.
When you input your password the arduino triggers a relay that acts like a wired garage door remote that you often see next to the internal door.

When the roller door was lowered the arduino would enter the door in transition state again and stay that way until the door closed and the bottom sensor was triggered.
Please note that this item not fit to iron door it will decline magnetic of the sensor.
The arduino would now enter a door closed indicator state and leave the led on for 10 seconds before entering the door closed sleep state.
Here s the arduino sketch i came up with to accomplish this.
Since i wanted to sense the normal state i e.
Mc 38 wired door window sensor magnetic switch home alarm system detector.
This sets the garage door opening mechanism into motion letting you through with the a new felt sense of control over your home.
